UPDATE on Hispanic Heritage Performance (Fri, Oct 11 @ 8:30am): Thank you to all who have provided feedback regarding the Hispanic Heritage Performance. Our teachers deeply appreciate your input! With that, we are shifting away from costumes and encouraging more traditional clothing for Hispanic Heritage Month. 

Here’s the updated plan:

Attire:
Option 1: If your family has traditional attire from your country, your child is encouraged to dress up!
Option 2: If not, students can wear the following:
– Boys: Blue jeans and a dark blue or white shirt.
– Girls: Blue jeans and a dark blue or white shirt.

Performances (Letter crafts for Sra. Gomez and Characters crafts for Ms. Hartness due by Oct 9th to allow our littles to practice)

I. Sra. Gomez’s Homeroom:
Letter Craft: Each child will hold letters attached to popsicle sticks.

Sea Animal Craft: Each child will hold a picture of their assigned sea animal attached to a popsicle stick to allow children to hold it. Each parent would provide for their child. 
Picture: Can be clip art or cartoon of the assigned sea animal.
Size: Standard letter size or larger.
Paper Weight: Cardstock or thicker.

Note: If you’ve already purchased or made a costume and can’t return it, your child is welcome to wear it.
