1) Hispanic Heritage Performance (Oct 11): The teachers are seeking our support for the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Presentation (LC) – more details on the performance date to follow. 

a) For Ms. Gomez’s Homeroom:

Costumes: Sign-up Genius – If you’re crafty and love projects, please consider signing up, even if your child isn’t in Sra. Gomez’s homeroom. We’ve set up a sign-up with more details and for coordination. Please send your letters to the teachers by Oct 9 so the children can practice in their costumes.

Character Theme: Kids will wear costumes representing the 27 letters of the Spanish alphabet.

2) Hispanic Heritage Month Mystery Reader:Sign-up Genius – A big thank you to Danny’s and Sebastian’s parents for enriching our littles’ learning experience last week! This week, Jordan’s parents will read an English book in Ms. Hartness’s class, while Cort’s parents will read a Spanish book in Sra. Gomez’s class. Reminder: Please bring your own book for this activity.

3) PTCC – UC Book Fair: Sign-up Genius – Please consider volunteering—any time you can spare will make a big difference. Without enough support, the book fair might close on certain days, disappointing students eager to explore new books.
